Babies are easier.

Well at least I am being entertained indoors as rain stops play for anything outdoors.
Son decides to go on hols for 2 weeks so we are babysitting a dog, a cat and a van.
Yes a van, he dumps the van on me with a 3 section ladder still attached to it with no padlock, I hope to hell he is insured!
The cat, as many will know you cant let outdoors for 2 weeks until they get familiar with their surroundings by which time he (son) will be back so I am stuck with a litter tray in one of the rooms....yuck!
The dog is a menace "yes dad its house trained" says he, well not in this house it aint. Can you buy disposables for dogs? Has already chewed 2 pairs of shoes, 3 paintbrushes, 1 carpet, why oh why does it never chew electric cables?
Then it ran off so I spent 20 minutes looking for it only to find it sitting in the garden. It also nearly killed our own dog as we got it some chews for a small puppy dog so our Collie gets one stuck in its throat, we had to pull it out.
Why are small young cute looking dogs such a menace! And he has only been here 2 days! I am sure it has a death wish, I may just oblige.

Keith,
Looks like he's trying to blend in with the flower pots, but it's not working very well.

I always think why is it when people say their pet/s are house trained, then when you look after them the first thing they do is to use your house as a toilet.
If it ain't broke then I can soon fix it.

aww he is lovely. he looks no trouble at all. bet you forgive him everything when you see him asleep. i can imagine it is difficult with the cat if it wants to go outside. ours is a monkey when we don't want him outside, he just races for the gap when we are inching our way out. i have started growling like a dog when he comes near the door to keep him away. glad the neighbour is deaf.

Love the ears sooo cute, you'll miss him when he goes home. Must have been on his best behaviour for the photo, colours look great.
