I have taken the decision to return to work despite having recently been re-assessed by the DWP Medical Officers as still being eligible for Incapacity Benefit following my surgery!!! I was gob smacked at this decision as I had told the Doctor I wanted to go back to work.

Anyway............. I have an interview later this morning and I am now reconsidering my decision I can't believe how nervous I feel. Yesterday I polished the Dining Table with Fly spray!! [:0] I also started with a cold yesterday and feel really grotty today

So fingers crossed for me please. The job is working as an Agency Social Worker for a flexible 18.5 hours per week :) Its perfect, only 15 minutes away and best of all I would be based at the same place as my best buddy Julie :D

Now if I could just get my nose to stop running and my head to stop banging

Well I am back!!! I still feel really crap but.................. I gotta job :D:D:):):D

OMG I did it, I was soooooooooooo nervous and for the first half of the interview I actually had a migraine (too much wine last night I think) so it was hard to concentrate. Anyway, it was lovely seeing some old faces and my old 'Big' Boss was in a meeting in the building and asked to be 'got' when they had finished cos she wanted to say hello . That was lovely of her and all in all people seem happy that I am going back and all in all I am happy to be going back :)

So you lot need to behave yourself cos I am starting next week [:0] I am gonna be working 2 almost full days and one half day so I won't be here to keep to crack the whip unless I can get on the internet at work!! ;)
